KIA's New Foreigners Are Korean Food?"You're adjusting well to food"

KIA Tigers' new foreign pitcher Adam Oler's preparation for his KBO League debut is going smoothly. While the team is preparing for a rehearsal for the actual game, the team has already adjusted to the atmosphere.

Kia has successfully completed its first spring camp at Irvine in Orange County, California, the U.S. from April 24 to April 18. Notably, its second starting pitcher Aller and first baseman Patrick Wisdom, who were newly recruited this year, showed good condition and skills, satisfying the coaching staff's expectations.

Aller is a right-handed orthodox pitcher from the U.S. He is 193 centimeters tall and has an average speed of around 150 kilometers. Another factor that is expected is that he is relatively young.온라인바카라

Aller had five wins, 13 losses and one hold with an ERA of 6.54 in 136 ⅓ innings in 36 games in the Major League. He was an active pitcher for the Miami Marlins last year with two wins, four losses and an ERA of 5.31 in 42 ⅓ innings in eight games.

During his U.S. spring camp, he threw fastballs every time he threw a bullpen session. Prior to his actual pitching, he gained attention by boosting his fastball speed to 149 kilometers. Watchers say that he has sharp movements including fastball, which is known as his main weapon. Players including Jeong Jae-hoon, the main pitching coach for the first team, acknowledged his pitching capability.

Oller is well received not only for his skills but also for his affinity. KIA ace Nail, who is in his second year in the KBO League, is also helping Oller adapt. So far, I don't feel anything bad.

KIA manager Lee Bum-ho also expressed satisfaction after the start of the second spring camp in Okinawa, Japan, saying, "Oller is quite adaptable. Perhaps because he has experienced many leagues, he has easily adapted to the atmosphere even when he comes to our team."

"Especially in terms of food, I ate Korean food well and I had no resistance. I think I will be able to perform well this year because I am getting along well with the players," he said.

KIA has already completed its rotation of 1st to 4th starters, starting with ace Nail, who won the ERA title last year, followed by Oler, Yang Hyun and Yoon Young-chul. On top of that, Kim Do-hyun and Hwang Dong-ha are in a fierce race for 5 starters. When Lee Eui-ri returns from rehabilitation in June, the starting mound, which is already considered the "best," will become more solid.

Oller is likely to take the mound for the first time in a practice game against the LG Twins on the 27th. LG is a strong team that is expected to compete with KIA for the championship in the 2025 season. Although it is a practice game for spring camp, it is also an interesting point to see how Oller will pitch.

Manager Lee Bum-ho believes that it is important for Oler to play a role as a pillar with one-two punch along with nails. If Oler shows the aspect of innings data when starting, he is in a position to make the season easier.

Manager Lee Bum-ho said, "It's not important for Oller to win and lose a lot. I hope he throws an average of six innings when he starts. Foreign pitchers want to play a lot of innings the most."
